Thanks to Netflix, you won’t have to wait for football season to see the newest members of the iconic Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad.
Season 2 of the mega-hit series America’s Sweethearts lands June 18 — and the streaming service has just released — on Wednesday, June 4 — both the returning fan favorites and the hottest new rookie hopefuls.
First are the returning stars auditioning as veterans.
Both director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell will again be on the show, as well as the following veterans: law school hopeful Armani Latimer; Chandi Dayle, the longest-running veteran; Jada Mclean, hoping for a banger of a grand finale last year; fourth year vet KayDianna MacKenzie; thrill-seeker Kleine Powell; Californian Megan McElaney, who grew up performing with her brother; and animal lover Sophy Laufer.
Also coming back is breakout star Reece Weaver, who became a fan favorite thanks to her romance with her enthusiastic fiancée she met at University of Alabama — whom she’s now married to. Kayla Hayes promises to be a dramatic storyline, as she’s vying for a comeback after failing to make the team last year.
As for potential new faces for the squad, it’s time to meet the rookie hopefuls.
They include: Ohio State alum Abby Summers; former Lady Tiger Ariel Brumfield; Ava Lahey, who was the very last cut last year; Charly Barby, also a late cut and who had a pulmonary embolism right before tryouts; former Miss Missouri Clare Marie Kuebler; University of Arizona alum Cooper Maas; choreographer Dayton Bramhall; OU Pom alum Jenna Waller; comeback hopeful Kelly Villares; and recent high school grad Madie Krueger.
