Social media personality Bretman Rock is getting candid about celebrity encounters that left a lasting impression—and not all of them were positive.
During a recent appearance on the Sweet and Savory with Alyssa and AJ Rafael podcast, the beauty influencer was asked to name both the best and worst celebrity interactions he’s had. One answer, in particular, quickly stood out.
When the conversation turned to negative experiences, Rock didn’t hesitate to single out actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens, who is married to former MLB outfielder Cole Tucker. Recalling a run-in from years ago at Coachella, Rock made it clear the encounter didn’t sit well with him.
“I don’t like her,” Rock said bluntly, describing the interaction. According to him, the situation unfolded while he was attending the festival alongside the CEO of SugarBearHair, a brand Rock was connected to at the time. Rock said his attention was focused on greeting the executive—not Hudgens—but things quickly became awkward.

“I was trying to get his attention, so I’m like waving, not at her,” Rock explained. “She looks at me and tries to hide. I’m like, first of all, I’m not saying hi to you. I was always Team Sharpay.”
Rock didn’t stop there, adding, “B*tch, I’m not a fan,” as he reflected on the moment. He also described Hudgens positioning another person in front of her as Rock approached, something he interpreted as unnecessary and dismissive.
“She grabs her hand and makes her stand in front of her like to block her,” Rock recalled. “You’re not above me, I’m not under you.”
Hudgens, a former Disney Channel star turned Hollywood regular, has not publicly responded to Rock’s comments.

Not all of Rock’s celebrity encounters have been negative, though. When asked about his most positive experience, he pointed to supermodel Adriana Lima. Rock recalled meeting the longtime Victoria’s Secret icon at a fashion event in 2017 and described her as warm, approachable, and genuinely kind.
He noted that the two have followed each other on social media since then, something Rock highlighted as meaningful, given how selective he is online.
