Second-ranked Michigan hits the road to begin Big Ten hockey play with a two-game series at Notre Dame, starting on Friday.

The Wolverines (7-1) have faced little resistance through the early portion of their schedule, out-scoring the opposition 46-12. That's the top-ranked goal-scoring margin in the nation.

Sophomore forward Michael Hage (14 points) and senior forward T.J. Hughes (nine) are among the team's leading point-getters.

After a slow start to the season, the Fighting Irish (3-2-1) are unbeaten in their last four contests. Graduate forward Sutter Muzzatti leads the team with nine points and six goals.
