Friday Night Heights is in full swing, and this week of competition heads down to Baton Rouge as LSU hosts Kentucky.
It's certainly been a wild start for the Tigers. Ranked No. 4 in the nation right now with a 197.175, LSU tied with favorite Oklahoma in the season-opener before falling on the road to Georgia. It was a bumpy showing against the Dawgs for their star gymnasts, but the season is young, and LSU is nothing if not stacked with talent.
The Wildcats know a thing or two about a bumpy start. Kentucky put up scores of 194.925 and 194.325 in its first meets of the season, scores unusually low for an SEC powerhouse. Fortunately, the Wildcats' latest meet against Arizona State also earned them four event titles, a promising stat for Kentucky.
