The top two teams in men's college water polo will square off for the national championship Sunday.
No. 1 USC faces No. 2 UCLA in a rematch of the 2024 final, which saw the Bruins prevail for their first title since beating the Trojans in the 2020 final. USC hasn't lifted the trophy since 2018, with four losses in the final since then.
The Trojans (23-3) have moved through the bracket with relative ease, taking out Concordia-Irvine and Fordham, while the Bruins (26-2) survived tighter games against Princeton and host Stanford to reach the final.
Sunday will be the fourth matchup between the teams in 2025. They split during the regular season and USC knocked off then-No. 1 UCLA in the MPSF tournament final.
