There will be a big-time Iowa and Iowa State flavor on the United States team heading to Zagreb, Croatia for the 2025 Senior World Championships, as several earned spots at Final X on Saturday.

Representing the U.S. on the men's side will be Spencer Lee, Real Woods, PJ Duke, David Carr, Levi Haines, Zahid Valencia, Trent Hidlay, Kyle Snyder and Wyatt Hendrickson.

Lee and Woods both wrestled for the Hawkeyes while Carr did so for the Cyclones.

On the women's freestyle team will be Audrey Jimenez, Felicity Taylor, Cristelle Rodriguez, Jacarra Winchester, Adaugo Nwachukwu, Macey Kilty, Kennedy Blades, Alexandra Glaude and Kylie Welker.

Half of those have ties to Iowa including Taylor, Kilty, Blades, Welker and Nwachukwu. Taylor is from South Winneshiek High School, Kilty, Blades and Welker compete for Iowa and Nwachukwu is a WIlliam Penn wrestler.

The only men's match that needed a third bout was between Duke and Yianni Diakomihalis, as Diakhomihalis won the first via technical fall, 10-0. Duke rebounded to post a 17-10 decision and a fall to seal his spot.

In one of the highlight matches, Valencia swept Kyle Dake, scoring 5-3 and 4-1 decisions.

The entire event streamed live on FloWrestling.
