Inoue (31-0) has proven many times that he’s one of the top fighters in the world. The Japanese fighter has 27 wins via knockout, winning two in 2025 via the power punch. He took out the toughest opponent of his career with ease in September in Murodjon Akhmadaliev.
"The Monster" is ready for a busy 2026. He could face Junto Nakatani, competing on this card. First, Inoue must get past the contender in his way.
"It’s a big stepping stone to the upcoming match in May," Inoue said about Picasso via BoxingScene. "I’m going to show you Picasso’s style; my style to adjust to Picasso. My impression is he’s a very aggressive fighter, so it’s not going to be an easy fight, but I’ll do my best."
Picasso (32-0-1) has 17 wins via knockout. The Mexican fighter won five fights in 2024 and beat Kyonosuke Kameda in July. The top-ranked fighter looks for the ultimate upset.
