Trout (37-5-1 boxing, 4-0 bare-knuckle fighting) is a former WBA super welterweight champion. He fought Jermall Charlo and Jarrett Hurd for the IBF super welterweight title, losing both contests. "No Doubt" debuted in BKFC in 2023 and is unbeaten.
Palomino (26-17 MMA, 10-1 bare-knuckle fighting) is a former XFC champion and a World Series of Fighting title contender. He won the BKFC lightweight and welterweight titles but lost the latter belt against Trout.
When they fought in February 2024, Trout earned a unanimous decision win for the welterweight title, outboxing Palomino with a stick-and-move strategy. Palomino recovered with a win in March.
Now in a lightweight fight, Palomino looks to prove the division is his. Meanwhile, Trout attempts to outdo his performance from last year.
