Piers Morgan: 'I had a better fight with Jake Paul' image

In the promotion for his fight Saturday night with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Jake Paul made an appearance on a television show hosted by Piers Morgan. The two did not see eye to eye on much, with Paul calling Morgan out and storming off the set.

Paul, though, regained his composure and finished the interview on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" before exiting gracefully. On Saturday, the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer, scored a one-sided victory over Chavez inside the ring.

Morgan took note of the performance, blasting Paul and claiming that "he's killing boxing with this boring staged bullshit against older fighters way past their prime."

"BREAKING: I had a better fight with Jake Paul on Thursday than the unwatchable farce that took place," Morgan posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). "The guy's lining his pockets with buckets of $$$$."

Paul, who made a huge purse for his victory over Mike Tyson that aired live on Netflix, was guaranteed $5 million with the potential to earn anywhere up to double that when pay-per-view and sponsorship money is finalized.
