Jake Paul is now considered an officially ranked boxer. The WBA placed the YouTuber-turned-fighter as the No. 14 cruiserweight in the latest rankings released.

Paul improved to 12-1 with a win this past weekend over former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez. The victory was his sixth straight since a split decision loss to Tommy Fury in 2023.

While the actual fight failed to generate much hype for Paul inside the ring, it went down as a win. The boxing governing body had mentioned they would likely move him into the rankings if he was able to get past Chavez.

The fight took place under Paul's Most Valuable Promotions from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Along with wins over Chavez, Paul has bested the likes of former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley, along with Ben Askren.

Gilberto Ramirez, the reigning WBA (super) and WBO champion, holds the No. 1 spot at cruiserweight. Badou Jack is the WBC champion and Jai Opetaia holds the IBF title.

Paul is ranked right behind Giovanni Cristian Scuderi and one spot ahead of Craig Parker.
