Boxer Anthony Joshua won his first 22 professional matches, and he built himself quite an empire while doing so.

The former heavyweight champion's record includes wins over Wladimir Klitschko, Francis Ngannou and Andy Ruiz Jr., though he has suffered a small handful of losses since 2019 as he has continued to challenge himself.

Despite the blemishes on his record, Joshua is one of the world's most prominent figures in boxing and has turned his fame into a business career in some respects.

Here's a complete look at Joshua's net worth and career earnings.

Anthony Joshua career earnings

Anthony Joshua's career earnings are believed to be in the range of $275 million, with four fights earning him at least a $25 million payout and two paying him at least $50 million. While boxers don't necessarily have steady salaries, Joshua continues to do well for himself in his 30s and is adding to his career earnings by fighting Paul.

Joshua admitted in 2023 that money was the motivating factor in his decision to continue fighting well into his 30s.

"I like making money, straight up," Joshua said at a pre-fight news conference. "I've been broke, my family's been broke, I know what this s— means. I always built businesses outside of boxing, out of fear of going back to square one, but when I'm said and done, no one will care about me anymore, so I'll make the most of it while I'm here."

Biggest fight paydays

Anthony Joshua's exact payday to fight Paul is the subject of conflicting reports, but here are his largest paydays entering the high-profile bout:

Andy Ruiz Jr. 2, 2019 ($57.5 million)

After suffering his first career loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. In 2019, all eyes were on the rematch just six months later in Saudi Arabia. That audience and attention were reflected by the payday Joshua received to give it another go, as he was paid $57.5 million and came away with a win to move to 23-1 in his career.

Francis Ngannou, 2024 ($50 million)

After three consecutive wins, Joshua agreed to a blockbuster fight with former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou in 2024 with a $50 million payout attached. Joshua won by knockout, picking up his 28th career win.

Oleksandr Usyk 2, 2022 ($40.6 million)

Just as he did after his loss to Ruiz, Joshua agreed to a second bout with Oleksandr Usyk after a 2021 defeat in London. While it paid him a handsome $40.6 million, Joshua suffered a second loss to Usyk to drop his career record to 24-3.
