The 60th installment of the NFL Championship Game (post-merger) will kick off Sunday, Feb. 8, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., at 6:30 p.m. ET.

A few weeks before the national holiday, the NFL playoffs start Saturday.

Though preseason is the best time to make a Super Bowl winner wager, fans who still want to bet on the NFL Playoffs should act before the start of this weekend's slate.

Acting before teams are eliminated and second-round matchups crystallize presents better value on your early-tournament reads.

You'll note a general pattern of favorite-to-underdog order:

  • The Seahawks/Rams/Broncos tier holds the shortest odds.
  • The Eagles/Patriots/Bills is a tier below but still considered a logical choice.
  • Then the Texans/Jaguars and Packers/Bears duos have promise but face longer roads.
  • The 49ers/Chargers/Steelers tier has many hurdles to surmount.
  • The Panthers... Well... They're not exactly considered likely to make it far in the NFL Playoffs.

The below list of bet categories will note each team's most favorable juice (bolded in the table).

Super Bowl 60 winner odds: Best value and sleeper bets

Jacksonville Jaguars (+1500) • BetMGM Sportsbook

The Bills might've been the choice instead were it not for the mismatch in Round 1 that's not being talked about enough. Unfortunately, this team's build leaves them in a "Josh Allen or bust" mentality.

While that might be enough, we should target another AFC sleeper.

The AFC is more relatively wide-open now that we don't have Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs, Lamar Jackson's Ravens, or Joe Burrow's Bengals in the postseason.

Trevor Lawrence's recent emergence has complemented a sorely underrated Jaguars defense.

Ranking sixth in total DVOA (FTN Fantasy) with 17.7% this past regular season, Jacksonville is in prime postion to elbow its way into a deep run. Jacksonville's personnel and fresh-thinking coaches in head coach/offense designer Liam Coen and defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile could shock the conference.

San Francisco 49ers (+3000) • DraftKings Sportsbook

If they can overcome their litany of defensive injuries -- and the first-round tilt with the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles, this Niners team boasts the coaching, offensive personnel, and playoff experience to make a significant run.

Their recent loss to the Seahawks and the continued decimation of their defense health has depressed the price, and I'm willing to buy the chance that the Super Bowl host stadium will feature its own team.

Super Bowl 60 winner odds: Favorites

Seattle Seahawks (+400) • Fanatics Sportsbook

The NFC's No. 1 seed holds all the cards in trench battles, schemes, and personnel -- except for the continued uncertainty about whether well-traveled but recently proven quarterback Sam Darnold can deliver the ultimate prize.

I'm such a huge fan of what this team has accomplished, but these short odds do nothing to generate any eagerness to bet on them. As mentioned before, this year feels so wide-open that I don't want to ride with The Favorites outside of individual game betting.

If you can't get away from betting on the Seahawks to win, look into using a bonus bet with an odds boost.

Los Angeles Rams (+430) • Caesars Sportsbook

The only member of the "favorites" tier without a bye, the market says as long as they get past the Panthers, they'll do damage.

There isn't much value in this bet, though; it's a long road to the conference title, and the pricing doesn't reflecet the long road in which they'd have to go through Carolina (who beat them in Week 13) and at least two of the other squads listed.

Hard pass, at this price.

Denver Broncos (+650) • FanDuel Sportsbook & every other book listed

Another well-established foundation -- especially that defense and pass rush --  with quarterback questions: Can Bo Nix elevate his already talented supporting cast as a sophomore?

The bye week helps, of course, but Denver's track record of close victories this year shows a combination of will and good fortunes.

They've been on a high wire all year and haven't separated themselves from other favorites enough to deserve this gap in juice.
