NFC West rivals meet for the third time in the 2025-26 NFL season... This time, with a berth to Super Bowl 60 on the line.
The No. 1 Seattle Seahawks host the No. 5 Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET in the NFC Championship Game.
They split the first two meetings of the year: The Rams prevailed 21-19 in Week 11 by forcing four interceptions from Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold. However, the embattled QB struck back with the game-winning TD pass and 2-point conversion in an instant-classic 38-37 overtime win in Week 16.
With Seattle's brilliant defense, dangerous (though now depleted) running game, and arguably the league's best receiver in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Darnold could reach his first Super Bowl. However, he will have to go through former Lombardi Trophy lifter Matthew Stafford and a stacked Rams squad with plenty of postseason experience.

Zach Charbonnet is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in the Divisional Round and will miss the rest of the postseason.
The thunder to Kenneth Walker III's lightning was an integral reason Seattle has been able to optimize Darnold's game, having served as Seattle's best red-zone contributor.
Converted wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. (6-foot, 204 pounds) will act as Seattle's top change-of-pace back, and he's flashed explosiveness in fleeting work.

Biggest mismatch: Wide receivers vs. Defensive backfields, on both sides
Though Seattle's Devon Witherspoon is ranked as Pro Football Focus' No. 1 cornerback, both sides carry burnable names in their defensive backfield.
Prop bets should display confidence in Puka Nacua, who torched Seattle in Week 16 for 12 catches, 225 yards, and two touchdowns.
The likelier receiver to falter will be Davante Adams, who likely will draw Witherspoon for much of the game, as well.
Meanwhile, the Rams' cornerbacks have little to offer in terms of shadowing, meaning Smith-Njigba holds a major advantage.
Beyond JSN, though, the erratic Cooper Kupp-Rashid Shaheed supporting combo may not be able to take advantage as much as it should. Perhaps tight end AJ Barner will chew up key targets.
NFC Championship Game score prediction: Seahawks 23, Rams 20
Even without Charbonnet, Seattle will control possession via Walker, who's enjoying a true breakout season as an impending free agent.
Walker and JSN should prove capable of owning the stat sheets enough to limit Darnold's mistakes and let the defense rush the statuesque Stafford -- yes, even against arguably the league's best offensive line.
