Jaquez Jr. Fills Up Stat Sheet vs. Knicks

The last game both teams played were against each other, which was this past Friday November 14th. After a couple days off, they are facing off again tonight in South Beach. For this play, we are backing Jaime Jaquez Jr to continue where he left off in that game on Friday.

Bam Adebayo has now missed five games for the Miami Heat, and Jaquez Jr. Has gone over this number in four of those five games, averaging 33.4 in the five games. So, not only is he going over, but he is going over by a good amount. The last game these teams played he took 20 shots, which is perfect for someone who has a point prop of 17.5, and he also had 20 rebound chances and 14 potential assists, which is perfect for his rebounds + assists number of 12.5.

This is generally a good matchup for him against a New York Knicks team that allows the 10th-most points per game in transition, and the fourth-most via spot up, which are the first and third play types for where he scores from. So, combining the three was the best way to back Jacquez Jr. Tonight.

Mitchell Continues Playing Well for Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been missing players all year (and keep winning, of course), but one player that has been healthy and been fantastic is Ajay Mitchell. On the year, he has scored over 15.5 points in nine of 14 games, averaging 16.7 points per game. Three of the times he went under he scored 14 points, so was just one bucket away.

That includes two straight games in which he scored exactly 14, and in both of those games the volume was still there he just did not shoot that great. What is great about backing Mitchell is that he is consistently playing 26-31 minutes, and sometimes even more depending on how the game is going.

What is also great about this play is the matchup, which is fantastic. The Pelicans are allowing the third-most points per game to pick-and-roll ball handlers, and the fifth-most points per game in the restricted area. That is the top play type and the top shot zone in terms of where his points come from.

On a related note, the New Orleans Pelicans are allowing the sixth-most points per game to PGs, and 10 of the last 15 guards against them have gone over their point prop. This could be a ladder play to 20+ points for Mitchell, but we will keep it at over 15.5 still for plus-money.

Hart Shows Out in Miami

Josh Hart is coming off a triple double in this exact matchup last time out, and even though we are not fading recent results here, the double-double is once again a great play for Hart tonight. A safer option is the rebounds + assists here, which is either a juiced 14.5 or 15.5 for better odds, but getting the double-double at the high odds of +160 price is worth it.

The important part about that game is that Jalen Brunson was out and is still out tonight, and in that game, Hart had 16 rebound chances and potential assists each. Not only that, but the Heat are a fantastic matchup for these types of guard props. They've allowed the most rebounds to point guards in the NBA and the fourth-most assists. With Brunson out, Hart essentially runs the point for the Knicks, which is why he was able to accumulate so many stats last time these two teams played.

While Hart is not known for getting his own shot and scoring a ton of points, he has scored at least 10 points in six of his last seven games, which came after starting slow due to a finger injury at the beginning of the year. His point prop is set at 12.5, so at least 10 points should be a safe floor.
