The luster of this game was minimized a little bit with both James Harden and Kawhi Leonard ruled out for this game due, but Jalen Green is making his debut for the Suns, which adds to the intrigue of the game tonight.
Below, we detail out favorite NBA player prop picks for Thursday night. There are NBA betting bonuses on FanDuel to lock in these NBA props for tonight.
| NBA Player Prop | Odds |

| Grayson Allen Over 15.5 Points | +100 at FanDuel |
Booker Dimes Up Clippers Tonight
While Devin Booker did go under this prop in in his first game against the Clippers this year with seven assists on 13 potential assists, but the Suns got blown out in that game which limited his playing time. They lost by 27 and he only played 26 minutes, and even still he came close with 7 assists even with all that.
The Clippers have been a great matchup for point guard assist props this year, allowing the fourth-most assists to point guards specifically and the fifth-most assists overall. Taking out Booker having missed his prop, all five other PGs against the Clippers have gone over their assist prop.
This makes sense, as the Clippers are a bottom nine defense defending spot ups and off-screen play types, which are both assisted plays. Booker missed this in his first three games, and has cashed it in three of five since, with games with 10, 9 and 13 assists. He gets to the eight number tonight.
Beal Steps Up for Clippers
With no James Harden and Kawhi Leonard tonight, somebody has to step up for the Clippers, and the guess here is that it is going to be John Collins tonight. This play is not without risks, as Collins has yet to hit this prop in any game this season, but it is an entirely different situation without two of the Clippers highest usage players not playing tonight.
The Suns defense has been excellent at limiting points to the main ball handlers this year, as they have allowed the second-fewest points per game to the pick-and-roll ball handler and the 10th-fewest points per game via isolation, but on the second-fewest points per possession. That makes them a tough matchup for whoever is going to be the primary creator on offense, but leads opportunity for someone such as Collins.
John Collins scores the majority of his points running the floor in transition, and the Suns allow the 8th-most points per game via transition. He scores another 25% of his points at the free-throw line, and the Suns foul at the 7th-highest rate. Missing two high scorers tonight, the guess here is that Collins steps up and gets to 18 points tonight.
Allen Scores Off Booker Passes
Since we are on Devin Booker assists, the guess here is the recipient of some of those passes is going to be Grayson Allen in the game tonight. He has been good for the Suns this year, going over the 15.5 number in five of eight games, and is averaging 16.4 points per game. He has been very consistent in general, scoring at least 12 points in every game, and 14 points in two of the games he went under.
The Clippers defense is similar to the Suns in that they limit points to whoever has the ball in their hands running the offense, as they allow the fourth-fewest points per game to the pick-and-roll ball handler. That said, they allow the 7th-most points via spot ups, which is where Allen scores over half his points.
Not only that, but the Clippers also allow the most made above-the-break 3-pointers in the NBA, and Allen scores 59% of his points via the above-the-break 3-pointer. The majority of these come on assisted plays, which is why Booker assists is a play, but it also correlates to Grayson Allen scoring tonight in this matchup.
