| NBA Player Props | Odds |
| Jalen Brunson 8+ Assists | +140 on FanDuel |
| Ryan Rollins 25+ Points | +148 on FanDuel |
| Cade Cunningham 30+ Points | +155 on bet365 |
Brunson Dimes Up Nets
While Jalen Brunson has only hit this over in four of 13 games this year, he has come close with 7 assists three separate times, and he also missed it in the first six games of the season. Since then, he has gone over in four of seven games, averaging 14.9 potential assists per game, which is the most important number here.
Now, he gets a soft matchup against the Nets, who, no matter how you slice it, are among the best defenses in the NBA to target for point guard assist props. Brunson missed this in the first game against the Nets this year, but he had seven assists in that game, and that was only while playing 29 minutes due to a 36-point blowout.
While this game could also easily turn into a blowout, that was also the only NBA game this season where he played fewer than 30 minutes. So, he should play more today and can get us to eight assists to cash out this juicy play.
Rollins Continues to Step Up
Ryan Rollins has played four games without Giannis Antetokounmpo this season, and he has scored 25+ points in three of those four games, and in one of the games he did not he scored exactly 24. If you wanted to play this safer, you could play his main line point prop as opposed to pumping it up to 25+ points, but the value was not worth it on any of those numbers. He is priced at over 21.5 points at -125 odds, and his over 22.5 is -107.
The best part about him going over is his volume in these games, as he has attempted 21, 15, 26 and 21 shots in these four games. 15 is low, but he went 10-for-15 in that game and four-of-six from deep so he managed to cash 25+ points, but we'd be hoping for 20+ FGA in this game to feel comfortable getting to 25+ points.
Luckily, the matchup is fantastic against the Blazers, who have not been able to guard point guards well with Jrue Holiday hurt. On the year, they've allowed the seventh-most points per game to pick-and-roll ball handlers, the third-most via transition, fourth-most via free throws and the ninth-most via transition. Those are four of the top five play types for how Rollins scores.
Cunningham Drops 30+ On the Pacers
Like the Ryan Rollins prop above, the best value backing Cade Cunninghams point prop was to pump him up to 30+ points. His main line prop is 26.5, but at -125 odds, and even if you go to 27.5 points the best offered price is -105. So, the opinion here is that the best value on the board is the pumped-up price on 30+ points at +155 odds.
As far as the play itself goes, Cunningham has scored 30+ points in five of his last nine games, but in three of the four games he missed he scored 26, 25 and 29 points, so he still scored well just could not quite get to the 30 number. He has missed it in three of his last four, which came right after cashing in four of his last five prior to that. So, this is a good fade of recent results in a good matchup against a Pacers defense that gets smoked by point guards.
It is an average matchup from a play type perspective, except where the Pacers foul at the highest rate in the NBA, and Cunningham is fantastic at getting to the foul line. He also scores almost 60% of his points from the paint, and the Pacers allow the second-most points per game in the paint in the NBA. He's dropping 30 tonight.
