With Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow out for the 2025-26 NFL Playoffs, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen seems to have the clearest path he's ever enjoyed to finally reaching a Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, the sixth-seeded Bills (12-5) must go through every postseason round to accomplish this goal. They travel to face the No. 3 Jacksonville Jaguars (13-4) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. 

Allen might've avoided that trio of elite quarterbacks, but he'll have to duel with Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence, who has blossomed in recent weeks in what could become his true breakout season. The 2021 No. 1 overall pick is peaking at the right time for his secretly talented Jags roster.

Run games could slow the pace -- hello, Under?

Both backfields could carry the load if needed -- though the statistical matchup heavily tilts in one team's favor.

It's not necessarily a James Cook advantage, either.

The Bills rank near the bottom of run defense, and a Travis Etienne-Bhayshul Tuten combo could play frequently for the Jags. Sure, Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr. Could present problems, but BTJ's up-and-down season and the need to keep Josh Allen off the field could dominate the Jacksonville game plan.

In turn, Cook should still do well, but this possible angle screams to bet the Under, especially with high expectations on the scoring totals.
