South Africa will look to whitewash England in the ODI series when they clash in the final match on Sunday.
Even after some resilient knocks from Joe Root (61), Jacob Bethell (58), and Jos Buttler (61), England was unsuccessful in chasing down South Africa's mammoth 331-run total in the second ODI match and lost the match by 5 runs. With that loss, Harry Brook suffered his first series defeat against a strong Proteas side.
South Africa, meanwhile, are flying high with their recent ODI performance. Temba Bavuma achieved a rare feat with the 5-run victory in the second ODI match; he became the first Proteas captain to win an ODI series in both Australia and England. It was Matthew Breetzke (85 off 77) who starred with the bat. South Africa have 2-0 lead in the series with one match remaining.

England vs. South Africa 3rd ODI predicted XIs, team news
With the series already gone, England will at least be aiming to seal the last ODI match. With not many options on their plate, the hosts will look to try out different things with their bowling combination in this match.
Sonny Baker, the 22-year-old paceman, had a nightmare outing in his debut match. But the speedster was dropped in the second match, and Saqib Mahmood was slotted in the playing XI.
On the bowling front, the Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse duo have played both the matches so far, and both are going to play crucial roles in the upcoming Ashes series for England. Team management might give Jofra Archer a much-needed rest in the final match for his workload, and either Jamie Overton or Rehan Ahmed can be added to the final XI. Adil Rashid has been a regular wicket taker for the team; his economical bowling display in the second match is what makes him stand out from the rest.
England were good with their batting in the second match after a shocking collapse in the opening match. It is unlikely that they will experiment with their batting lineup.
England predicted XI: Jamie Smith, Ben Duckett, Joe Root, Harry Brook (c), Jos Buttler (wk), Jacob Bethell, Will Jacks, Saqib Mahmood, Brydon Carse/Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, Rehan Ahmed.
As for South Africa, Kagiso Rabada is still recovering from his ankle injury, and his participation remains uncertain.
The left-hand batter Tony de Zorzi missed out on the second ODI match and will remain sidelined from the last match with a hamstring injury. Matthew Breetzke stepped in to replace Zorzi in the playing XI of the second match and played a blistering knock of 85 runs from just 77 deliveries.
Matthew Breetzke has been going through an unbelievable run in this ODI career. In just 5 matches he has 463 runs at a batting average of 92.60; he has scored a fifty-plus score in all five of his innings so far.
Wiaan Mulder, who took three wickets in the opening match, was replaced by Senuran Muthusamy in the second match, and he is likely to retain his spot.
With the series already in their pocket, the Proteas are likely to make some changes in their bowling lineup. While Kwena Maphaka is warming the bench, Codi Ethan Yusuf is eagerly waiting to grab his ODI debut cap. So far, the duo of Lungi Ngidi and Nandre Burger have been outstanding in the series, but either Maphaka or Yusuf will get added to the starting lineup against England in the final match.
South Africa predicted XI: Aiden Markram, Temba Bavuma (c), Ryan Rickelton (wk), Nandre Burger, Corbin Bosch, Senuran Muthusamy, Tristan Stubbs, Keshav Maharaj, Dewald Brevis, Maphaka, Matthew Breetzke.
