All Elite Wrestling has collaborated with various promotions from around the world since its inception in 2019. Its most consistent partnership has been with New Japan Pro Wrestling. The promotions team up once again for Forbidden Door on August 24.

The event, featuring matchups pitting the best of AEW against the best of NJPW, emanates from The O2 Arena.

With the event in London, Will Ospreay will compete. The Havering-born Ospreay has been dealing with a neck injury and two herniated discs in his cervical spine. However, the former world champion will be cleared for the event.
