After weeks of anticipation, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York, USA, is set to host the final grand slam of the season, the US Open, beginning Sunday, August 24.
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner enters this year's edition as the defending champion. Despite the three-month suspension, it has been yet another campaign for the Italian as he won the Australian Open for the second time, while also emerging victorious at this season's Wimbledon.

While Sinner is once again the odds-on favorite to win the US Open, he will have to fend off a stacked field, which includes Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, and many more.
Similarly, the women's front is stacked heavily as well, with world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka the reigning champion and leading a field that includes 2023 Wimbledon winner Coco Gauff, 2022 Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek, and 2025 Australian Open winner Madison Keys.
Sabalenka has yet to add to her tally of three grand slams this season, coming close at this year's Australian Open and French Open. She will look to open her account for the campaign by retaining the US Open for a second successive year.
