Jack Draper has provided a fresh update over the arm injury which has hampered his participation on the court recently.
The British no. 1 withdrew prior to his second round contest at the US Open due to feeling discomfort in his serving arm.
Draper's bruised left humerus has been troubling him since the clay court season and the injury continued to affect him throughout the grass court season.
He missed Masters 1000 events in both Toronto and Cincinnati in order to be fit for the year's final Grand Slam, but it turned out that he was not quite ready to be back competing.

On Monday (September 8), Draper revealed that his left arm injury would sadly keep him out for the remainder of the 2025 season.
"Unfortunately, the injury to my arm is something I have to rest and means I’ll be sitting out the rest of 2025," the 23-year-old wrote on social media.

"It is very difficult for me to accept as I was building some incredible momentum this year and playing some great stuff," Draper added.
He then reassured his supporters that he has what it takes to battle through the pain and return better than before.
Draper had been playing quality tennis earlier in the year as he won the Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells, and finished runner-up at the Madrid Open. Hence, the latest news is a tremendous setback for him.
The 23-year-old looked to be well on course to securing a first-time spot at the ATP Finals event in Turin this November, however, that dream is now over.
His lack of minutes of activity on the court recently has seen him drop from a career-high ranking of world no. 4 a few months ago to seventh spot, and he is likely to drop out of the top 10 soon due to his injury.
The British no. 1 will not undergo surgery for the humerus bruising and will hope to be back for the start of 2026.
