Iga Swiatek beat Jasmine Paolini in the Cincinnati Open final on Monday night (August 18) to secure a maiden title at the event.
The victory for the world no. 3 comes just a few weeks after she won a first Wimbledon title and secured a sixth Grand Slam triumph.
The Pole has now won 11 WTA Masters 1000 events and 24 titles overall at the age of just 24.
Swiatek's 7-5 6-4 win over Paolini means she has come out on top in all six matches played against the Italian on the WTA Tour, which includes the 2024 French Open final.

Despite securing the title without dropping a single set in the tournament, Paolini made things very difficult for the third seed throughout the contest.
Paolini broke early in the first set and found herself 3-0 up. However, the seventh seed would go on to lose the next five games.
The Italian was able to break Swiatek's serve to even the set at 5-5, but the reigning Wimbledon champion broke back immediately, before serving out the set in the following game.

The second set saw multiple breaks occur again, with Paolini's efforts in the sixth game particularly impressive as she came out in a brilliant rally to break Swiatek and bring the set to 3-3.
Again, Swiatek was able to break back right away and held her serve for the remainder of the second set to clinch the title.

Swiatek's reaction to winning a maiden title in Cincinnati
Post-match, the Cincinnati champion expressed her delight at winning the event.
"It means a lot to me. This year I really wanted it. I'm just very happy. It's nice to check off the list another tournament that I haven't won."
While Swiatek has won a Grand Slam title and 1000 event within a matter of weeks, the 2025 season has been difficult at times for the Pole, as her success at SW19 was the first title she collected up this year.
"This season hasn't been easy. I've had areas to improve. It's not easy to win tournaments when everyone is expecting you to," the 24-year-old explained.
Swiatek will not have much time to celebrate her win in the Ohio city due to the quick turnaround of events on the tennis schedule.
She is playing in the mixed doubles event at the US Open alongside Norway's Casper Ruud.
The pair's opening round match will be against American duo Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe on Tuesday (August 19).
