Emma Raducanu put aside America's Peyton Stearns in her third-round match at the Canadian Open to continue her recent impressive run of form.
She defeated her fellow unseeded opponent 6-2 6-4 during Wednesday's (July 30) night session in Montreal.
The 22-year-old's latest victory means she has won five out of her last six matches, and continues to build up momentum in the North American hard-court season.
Raducanu's result against Stearns follows her 6-2 6-4 triumph over Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the opening round on Monday (July 28).
The 22-year-old is now scheduled to take on American fifth seed, Amanda Anisimova, in the next round on Friday (August 1), with the hope of progressing further in the WTA Masters 1000 event.
Anisimova's opening round win over Lulu Sun on Wednesday evening was her first outing on the court since reaching the Wimbledon final earlier this month.
The American's final appearance at SW19 did not go to plan whatsoever as she was defeated 6-0 6-0 by Iga Swiatek, in what was the most one-sided Grand Slam final in decades.

Swiatek's dominant win was just the second double bagel Grand Slam final victory in the Open Era.
Anisimova would have felt very down after her Wimbledon final display so she will be motivated to continue her return to form against Raducanu in Montreal.
While Anisimova will present a tougher challenge for Raducanu, the 2021 US Open winner expressed delight in the meantime over her win against Stearns.
She told Sky Sports: "Peyton is a really tough opponent, we've played two times in the past and always had really long matches. I'm really happy with how I came through in that match."
"I was actually born in Canada, so to come back, it means so much to do well here, and (I'm) very happy to be into the next round."

Who else is progressing in Montreal?
Most of the top seeds in the women's singles draw have showcased a strong opening round in Canada, including top seed, Coco Gauff, who dug out a gutsy win over compatriot, Danielle Collins, on Tuesday evening (July 29) to progress.
Tuesday also saw Emma Navarro (8) and Elena Rybakina (9) progress with straight set wins, while Swiatek (2), Jessica Pegula (3), Madison Keys (6) and Elena Svitolina (10) all triumphed with straight set victories on Wednesday.
Mirra Andreva (4) received a walkover in her opening round contest after her opponent, Bianca Andreescu, sadly pulled out of the tournament in her native country due to an ankle injury.
Jasmine Paolini (7) is the only top-10 seed to not be left standing in Montreal, as she lost to the unseeded, Aoi Ito, in her opening round match on Tuesday.
Thursday's (July 31) afternoon schedule will see Gauff face the unseeded Veronika Kudermetova, while Andreeva takes on McCartney Kessler (28)
Navarro and Rybakina will be in action during the night session against Dayana Yastremska (32), and Jaqueline Cristian, respectively.
