2022 Champion of Champions snooker results and prize money as Ronnie O'Sullivan beats Judd Trump in final image

First held in 1978 and revived in 2013, the Champion of Champions showpiece returned with an invited cast of top snooker talent comprising tournament winners from the previous 12 months.

The likes of 2021 Champion of Champions winner Judd Trump, UK Championship king Zhao Xintong and Scottish Open holder Luca Brecel were among the names involved.

Masters, Players Championship and Tour Championship winner Neil Robertson and three-time Champion of Champions winner Ronnie O'Sullivan were also taking part.

And it was O'Sullivan who emerged victorious in Sunday's showpiece, defeating Trump 10-6.

The seven-time world champion raced into a 6-1 lead before Trump fought back to 7-6 - that also saw him bag a seventh maximum 147 break of his career.

Here's a full recap of all the results and the prize money that was on offer.
