The 10th edition of the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 kicked off with host nation England defeating the United States in Sunderland on August 22.
England are hosting the competition for the second time and are firm fan favourites to be the eventual winners, given their world no. 1 position and their recent grand-slam victory at the 2025 Guinness Women's Six Nations.
The tournament functions with an initial group stage, with the top two from each pool then moving forward to the knockout phase.
The final, which will be at Allianz Stadium Twickenham, is set to be the biggest fixture in women's rugby ever, in front of a sold-out crowd of 82,000.
