The NHL has a new streaming home in the United Kingdom.

Before the start of the 2025-26 season, the NHL and DAZN announced that NHL.TV will be integrated into the streaming platform as part of a multi-year agreement, covering nearly 200 countries and territories.

When does the 2025-26 NHL season start and end?

  • Start date: October 7, 2025
  • End date: April 16, 2026

The 2025-26 NHL regular season will begin on October 7 and conclude on April 16, with the Stanley Cup Playoffs to follow. There will be an extended break in February for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which will feature NHL players for the first time since 2014.
