There have been plenty who have thoughts on Cam Ward. From game to game, people have had wide-ranging opinions about how Ward's rookie year is going. But after Sunday's game versus Seattle, one opinion stood out in a good way from ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes.
Cam Ward's put up a better performance vs the Seahawks defense than a LOT of veteran QBs this year.... Pic.twitter.com/aEFSYhksNK

Kimes is widely respected for her expert NFL analysis, breaking down plays with advanced statistics and deep football knowledge, but some eyebrows were raised by some who saw this Tweet. So, let’s take a look at the quarterbacks the Seahawks have faced this season.
Week 1 - Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers): 26/35, 277 yards, 2 Touchdowns, 2 interceptions
Week 2 - Aaron Rodgers (Pittsburgh Steelers): 18/33, 203 yards, 1` TD, 2 interceptions
Week 3 - Spencer Rattler (New Orleans Saints): 28/39, 218 yards, 1 TD, 1 interception
Week 4 -Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals ): 27/41, 200 yards, 2 TDs, 2 interceptions
Week 5 - Baker Mayfield (Tampa Bay Bucs): 29/33, 379 yards, 2 TDs
Week 6 - Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars): 27/42, 258 yards, 2 TDs
Week 7 -CJ Stroud (Houston Texans): 23/49, 229 yards, 1 TD, 1 Interception
Week 9 -Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders): 16/22, 153 yards, 1 interception
Week 10 -Jacoby Brissett (Arizona Cardinals): 22/44, 258 yards, 2 TDs
Week 11 - Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams): 15/28, 130 yards, 2 TDs
Week 12- Cam Ward (Tennessee Titans ): 28/42, 256 yards, 1 TD, 1 rushing TD
Ward did not have an interception like Purdy, Rodgers, Rattler, Murray, Stroud and Jayden Daniels did. He also had a completion rate of 67% and no turnovers or fumbles. He was decisive with his feet and his arm, along with not throwing any near-interceptions.
While many may not have been watching, Kimes is keeping an eye on the number one pick. And this performance against one of the best teams in the NFL shows the growth in Ward’s performance from the beginning of the season to now.
