Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield had a superb 2024 season, which many call the best of his career, as he threw for 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns.
But the one thorn in his paw was the 16 interceptions, which led the league along with Kirk Cousins, as Mayfield didn't take care of the football. However, that was life with No. 6 last year, as he threw touchdowns for fun; he also had five games of multiple interceptions.
Which brings us to 2025.
The Buccaneers are 3-0 with Mayfield needing to lead game-winning drives in all three games. He has been the very definition of clutch, but there is one stat that raises the collective eyebrow, especially after last season.
Through three weeks, Mayfield has yet to throw an interception, while having six passing touchdowns.
Yeah, that'll work.

Can Mayfield continue interception-free streak?
Well, that would be ideal, but up next are the Philadelphia Eagles and Vic Fangio's defense, so if Mayfield can come away with a couple of touchdowns and no interceptions, then we will be impressed.
Fangio's defense has a turnover in every game so far this season, so Mayfield seems to be up against it to not throw an interception, but he has been taking care of the football, and if Tampa Bay has any intention of handing the Eagles their first loss of the year, it has to win the turnover battle.
No interceptions in three games is impressive from Baker, but he will need to keep that streak going if the Buccaneers are to make some noise in 2025.
