Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has long forgotten his time with the Cleveland Browns and Kevin Stefanski.
Or so we thought.
With Stefanski being with Baker during his early years in Cleveland, he is now with the Atlanta Falcons, meaning he will see Mayfield twice a year.
But Baker might have just put this Buccaneers/Falcons rivalry into overdrive.
Responding on X to a piece by Orlando Ledbetter in which he stated Mayfield "failed" in Cleveland, the Pro Bowl quarterback responded in the best way possible for fans.
By not holding back.
Failed is quite the reach pal. Still waiting on a text/call from him after I got shipped off like a piece of garbage. Can’t wait to see you twice a year, Coach. Https://t.co/jUUsYkvlOC

Mayfield ready to stoke rivalry fire
Baker is implying that he is still waiting for a text/call from Stefanski to let him know that he was being shipped off to another team, all these years later.
It is certainly an explosive revelation for Mayfield, and now that he gets to see Stefanski twice a year, you can bet he's circling those dates in his calendar.
There is clear animosity between Baker and his former head coach, at least from Mayfield's side, and the fact that he went public with it shows how strongly the quarterback feels.
This Buccaneers/Falcons rivalry just got a whole lot more juicy, folks.
