Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield never takes himself too seriously, and in Week 11, the Pro Bowler will face off against good friend Josh Allen as the Buffalo Bills are next up on the schedule.

Much has been made of the pair's relationship, with Allen stating in his media availability that he and Baker play golf together and even won a tournament as partners.

And in true Baker fashion, when asked by reporters about his friendship with Allen, Mayfield didn't hold back.

"I have to walkie-talkie to him because he's so damn tall, so I can't really have a face-to-face conversation with him," Mayfield said with a smile. "But in Buffalo, it's cold, it's rainy, even though he's 6'10, his hands are small, so he better wear his gloves."

So, we have a little insight into the sort of relationship Baker and Josh have as the pair prepare to do battle on Sunday.

Allen responds to Baker's light-hearted comments

As Mayfield's press conference ended, naturally, it didn't take long for his comments to find their way to Buffalo, with Allen speaking to reporters a short time after.

And of course, the first question was if Allen had heard Baker's comments, which he hadn't, and upon learning them, the defending MVP returned serve.

"That's crazy," a smiling Allen said. "Baker wears two gloves golfing. So, he's that type of guy. I love the guy. He's awesome."

So, there you have it. While the NFL is a brutal, results-based business, there is still room for some light-hearted fun, and while Baker and Josh are joking now, come Sunday, it will be all business as the Buccaneers look to claim what would be a huge scalp in Buffalo.
