The Atlanta Falcons and the Indianapolis Colts will duke it out in Week 10 of the NFL season. Their game was chosen not to occur in Indianapolis as scheduled, but instead will be part of the NFL's International Series for 2025.

This matchup will be held in Berlin, Germany, and will be the lone game held in the country this year. It will be the fifth NFL game held in Germany, but the first at Olympiastadion, also known as Berlin Olympic Stadium.

The contest will be the sixth of seven international games scheduled for the 2025 season, the most international games the NFL has ever had in one year.

The Falcons and the Colts will be playing at Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany. The stadium is also known as Berlin Olympic Stadium, and it will be the first time that the venue has hosted an NFL game.

Olympic Stadium details

  • Capacity: 74,475
  • Year Built: 1934-1936
  • Cost: 43 million Reichsmark in 1936, 297 million euros renovation in 2016 ($352.56 million)

The stadium was initially designed to host the 1936 Summer Olympics. It is the largest stadium in Germany that hosts international football matchups, and it is considered a category four stadium by UEFA, meaning it is eligible to host UEFA Champions League playoffs and championship matches.

The multi-purpose venue has hosted nine men's World Cup matches as well as serving as a host for the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup. Olympiastadion hosted the 2015 UEFA Champions League final as well as six games at UEFA Euro 2024.

The stadium was initially built between 1934 and 1936. It was first reconfigured in 1974 before undergoing a massive renovation from 2000 to 2004. This was done so the stadium could host future World Cup games, and 21 years later, it can host an NFL game.

Who plays at Olympic Stadium?

Olympic Stadium is home to Hertha BSC. The football (soccer) club plays in 2. Bundesliga. They were relegated down after the 2022-2023 season, and haven't been able to get promoted since. The club was founded in 1892.
