Treylon Burks may have completed the catch of the year on Sunday night.
The wide receiver has been a disappointment since the Tennessee Titans drafted him to replace A.J. Brown in 2020, but he is looking to revive his career with the Washington Commanders. Against the Denver Broncos on "Sunday Night Football," Burks produced the best play of his career.
While Burks' catch didn't reach the heights of Odell Beckham Jr.'s one-handed highlight grab 10 years ago, it still resulted in a large swath of reactions. Here's what Burks did in Washington.

Treylon Burks catch
With the Commanders down six points in the second half, Treylon Burks produced a highlight-worthy catch to give Washington the lead. Quarterback Marcus Mariota tossed the ball to Burks in the back of the endzone, and Burks made an outstanding one-handed catch for his second career touchdown over cornerback Riley Moss.

Burks just joined Washington earlier this month, entering this game with four catches in two games. This marked Burks' first touchdown since 2022, which came with the Titans, and his first touchdown with the Commanders.
In fact, Burks recently had surgery on his right middle finger, which was on the same hand he used in the play.
Fun fact: Treylon Burks had surgery to repair a spiral fracture on his middle finger 14 days ago… and now used that same finger to help secure this insane catch. Still got tape on it. Https://t.co/3GrhWxXgAV pic.twitter.com/BCmsyb9ooH

Burks even elicited reaction from Odell Beckham, who made his famous catch 10 years ago.

If Burks is looking to salvage his career after flaming out in Tennessee, and this is a good start.
