Tom Brady’s gridiron legacy lives on even as his shimmery on-field career disappears further into the background.
The former Patriots and Buccaneers signal-caller continues to serve as a steward of the game in retirement, taking on a minority stake with the Raiders and lending his vocals to Fox’s weekly broadcasts.
Ultimately, though, Brady’s most memorable moments came atop the NFL’s lush pastures. No venue coaxed more joy out of Brady than Gillette Stadium, the 64,628-seat colosseum he may not have crafted but he certainly perfected across his 20-year stint in Boston.
Appropriately, that site now bears his likeness. In 2025, New England erected a mammoth structure paying homage to Brady’s on-field exploits.
The structure, outfitted in bronze, is expected to be one of the NFL’s most iconic. Here’s what you need to know.

Inside Tom Brady’s Patriots statue
Brady’s sculpture is mountainous, standing 12 feet tall. Decked on in bronze accents, the structure is hulking, menacing and firm — all characteristics which Brady epitomized at his pomp. The statue sits on a granite hexagon, chosen to represent the six Super Bowls he won with New England. The Brady portion of the statue is 12 feet to represent his number, and the hexagon adds another five, making it 17 feet tall, to represent the 17 AFC East titles he won with the Patriots.
The sculpture was initially planned to be unveiled in 2024 when the Patriots matched up with the Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa was knocked out with a concussion in Week 2, pushing Fox — who planned to send Brady to cover the game — elsewhere for the joust.
“The statue preserves his placement as a ‘Patriot for life’ and enshrines his legacy as the greatest of all time,” the team said in a release.
Located in Patriots Place Plaza next to the franchise’s Hall of Fame, Brady’s statue should gleam for an eternity.

How much does Tom Brady statue weigh?
