The Steelers would be wise to come out of their bye week with a sense of urgency. At 2-6, Mike Tomlin's team is a half-game out of last in the AFC and already faces long odds to re-enter the playoff conversation.

Tomlin's streak of 15 consecutive seasons without a losing record is three losses away from ending, and a home loss to the Saints would push the Steelers even further from contention.

The Saints are under .500 through nine games but still have reason for hope in the NFC South, where no one will carry a winning record into Week 10. New Orleans won't have Michael Thomas back this season, but with the way Andy Dalton, Alvin Kamara, and Chris Olave have played of late, is it possible the Saints have the most impressive offense in the division?

Considering how much the Steelers have struggled this season, Sunday's matchup feels like a game the Saints have to have if they want to keep themselves firmly in the playoff conversation.

The Steelers have struggled in just about all facets of the game, but a huge defensive boost is on the way. T.J. Watt was designated to return from IR in late October, and he has a chance to return as early as this game. If he's able to get back on the field, Watt could wreak havoc on the Saints' offense.
