NFL power rankings: Eagles, Texans push down Bills; Ravens and 49ers also rise for Week 18 image

There's only one more week left in the 2025 NFL regular season. Half of the league is sitll alive in the race for Super Bowl 60. The other half of the league has been eliminated from playoff contention after Week 17.

Before AllSportsPeople' final regular-season power rankings, there were plenty of shocks to shake things up one last time before the focus turns to the teams with a ticket to either the wild-card or division rounds. Not much changed at the top, but here's the latest 1-32 look at league's best to worst teams going into the Week 18 finales:

NFL Power Rankings

1. Seattle Seahawks 13-3 (previous ranking: 1)

The Seahawks got off to a slow offensive start in Carolina before their running game provided the usual big spark with Sam Darnold heating up fast with his receivers. The blowout makes them even more dangerous Super Bowl contenders ahead of facing the 49ers again.

2. New England Patriots 13-3 (2)

The Patriots are rolling again with Drake Maye picking apart bad pass defenses with plenty more help from the running game. They're tuning up in the right way for the playoffs to lean more on the experience of Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels.

3. Denver Broncos 13-3 (4)

The Broncos still had their defense travel to Kansas City but they needed another gritty late fourth-quarter drive by Bo Nix to sew up the division title. They will be well prepared for close games in the playoffs.

4. Los Angeles Rams 11-4 (3)

The Rams took a hard blow in their loss to the Seahawks but they are set up to get well for the playoffs against the Falcons and Cardinals to close the season. They will be a tough wild-card out no matter whom they play.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars 12-4 (5)

The Jaguars messed around with some sloppy play against the scrappy Colts before Trevor Lawrence and the offense found their groove. The defense also came up with more key sacks and takeaways to push them toward wresting the division title from the Texans.

6. San Francisco 49ers 12-4 (7)

The 49ers' offense is back put together with Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey looking sharp together for Kyle Shanahan. They will be a tough No. 1 seed if they are able to stop the Seahawks a second time in Week 18.

7. Chicago Bears 11-5 (6)

The Bears didn't need to worry about winning the division, taking some pressure off their tough draw in San Francisco. They will look to keep the No. 2 seed ahead of the Eagles in Week 18 to improve their NFC title chances.

8. Philadelphia Eagles 11-5 (10)

The Eagles' offense will get ripped again for that second half in Buffalo, but their defensive backbone under Vic Fangio is showing again at the ideal team right ahead of the playoffs. They are mentally and physically tough to compensate for some schematic struggles.

9. Houston Texans 11-5 (12)

The Texans' defense traveled well to Los Angeles in keeping its pass-rush vibrant and secondary active making plays. They can't be ignored to make a run in the AFC playoffs even as a wild card with DeMeco Ryans calling the shots.

10. Buffalo Bills 11-5 (8)

The Bills have been leaning a lot on their running game and defense to win games, giving them little margin of error, which showed up enough against the Eagles. Josh Allen can't do everything in crunch time. At least they can get some rest to reset before the playoffs.

11. Los Angeles Chargers 11-5 (9)

The Chargers went into Dallas and used it for a get-well offensive game with more juice from their defense, too. Justin Herbert needed that and so did Jim Harbaugh.

12. Green Bay Packers 9-6-1 (11)

The Packers got what they need from Malik Willis and the offense with no Jordan Love, but the run defense fell apart against the Ravens on top of a Micah Parsons-less fading pass defense. They don't look like they will last long in the playoffs anymore.

13 . Pittsburgh Steelers 9-7 (13)

The Steelers couldn't generate enough passing offense minus DK Metcalf in Cleveland and should worry about him not being available to attack the secondary vs. Baltimore in Week 18. Aaron Rodgers needs all the help he can get to make sure Pittsburgh holds on.

14. Baltimore Ravens 8-8 (17)

The Ravens rediscovered Derrick Henry and the power running game at the ideal time in Green Bay and will hope to ride that into victory in Pittsburgh to erase all the early issues and start fresh in the playoffs.

15. Detroit Lions 8-8 (14)

The Lions haven't been running the ball like they did in previous seasons and Jared Goff has had trouble overcoming despite more gaudy net passing stats. The injuries defensively still cost them most.

16. Carolina Panthers 8-8 (15)

The Panthers haven't had enough consistent offense from Bryce Young when their running game isn't available. They should be happy, however, if they can still win the division and get some playoff experience, win or lose.

17. Indianapolis Colts 8-8 (16)

The Colts tried their best to survive at quarterback and the Philip Rivers experiment blew up in their faces. The fall from 7-1 is shocking and disappointing, but Shane Steichen should get one more year to try to finish well.

18. Minnesota Vikings 8-8 (19)

The Vikings have rallied to get to.500 despite their issues at quarterback and growing pains for J.J. McCarthy in particular. Kevin O'Connell is reminding everyone of his coaching chops late and watch out for them vs. The Packers.

19. Dallas Cowboys 7-8-1 (20)

The Cowboys got going with Dak Prescott and Javonte Williams doing their thing to rip Washington and their much-maligned defense is getting some respectability late. Brian Schottenheimer merits another season.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-9 (18)

The Buccaneers have gotten discombobulated on offense with Baker Mayfield being more erratic despite his key passing and receiving weapons back. The defense also keeps putting him in tougher holes.

21. Atlanta Falcons 6-9 (21)

The Falcons should be worried about Raheem Morris' tenure ending based on defensive disappointment, but they now have a trickier future at QB with Kirk Cousins playing well late to lift the passing game.

22. Miami Dolphins 7-9 (25)

The Dolphins may have done enough to make sure Mike McDaniel returns for another season, regardless of whether Tua Tagovailoa will return as the starting QB. They can play big spoiler vs. The Patriots in the finale.

23. New Orleans Saints 6-10 (23)

The Saints keep seeing Tyler Shough settle well as their franchise QB thanks to a more favorable defensive schedule and smart scheming by Kellen Moore. Their late life is promising for next season.

24. Kansas City Chiefs 6-10 (21)

The Chiefs tried their best to stay in their game with the Broncos with defense given there's not much offense, down to No. 3 Chris Oladukon at quarterback. They will try to end their five-game losing streak vs. The Raiders in Week 18.

25. Cincinnati Bengals 6-10 (25)

The Bengals are once again getting hot late with Joe Burrow and all of his key offensive weapons to have a favorable cosmetic finish. The pressure will be on the turn those ending positive vibes into playoff meaning next season.

Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders

26. Cleveland Browns 4-12 (28)

The Browns aren't quitting at all and the defense is giving Shedeur Sanders a chance to carry his starting QB job in 2026. Myles Garrett should get his record sack in Week 18 and there's a chance now that Kevin Stefanski gets another season.

27. Washington Commanders 4-12 (26)

The Commanders are fighting hard for Dan Quinn but there's not much to rely upon down to third-string QB play and a defense breaking down everywhere. They need a huge rebound season with a healthy Jayden Daniels.

28. New York Giants 3-13 (31)

Jaxson Dart took advantage of a reeling defense and ripped it with downfield passing and his relaxed running. The Giants have the outline of a quick turnaround with the right coaching hires and personnel upgrades.

29. Tennessee Titans 3-13 (27)

The Titans are seeing the flashes of Cam Ward over the past month, making them more confident he was the right No. 1 overall choice to be their franchise passer. They will need to go to work plenty on defense in the offseason.

30. Arizona Cardinals 3-13 (29)

The Cardinals are lucky to have Jacoby Brissett being relentless with the passing game with their defense and running game falling apart. But the offense needs to be about more than just Michael Wilson and Trey McBride next year.

31. New York Jets 3-13 (30)

The Jets showed little life with their limited talent, looking overmatched vs. The Patriots. At least Breece Hall has proved to be a major bright spot in a lost offense.

32. Las Vegas Raiders 2-14 (32)

The Raiders were preparing for their loss to the Giants earlier in their week by shutting down Maxx Crosby, their hardest-playing player, early in the week. There needs to be a major culture shift in Las Vegas again for Pete Carroll's return to the NFL to have any value.
