Just four teams remain alive in the fight for the Lombardi Trophy.

It's been a widely differing path to conference championship weekend for the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. While the two No. 1 seeds are alive, Seattle's path has been about defensive dominance, while Denver's season took an unexpected turn when Bo Nix was ruled out for the season after a divisional-round win over the Bills.

Meanwhile, the Patriots have relied on their hard-nosed defense and Drake Maye's blossom into stardom to return to the AFC Championship Game, while the Rams have snuck by in both of their two playoff wins so far, seeking a second Super Bowl in five years.

AFC and NFC champions will soon be crowned. Who will meet in Super Bowl 60?

Here's the full schedule and everything you need to know to watch the rest of the 2026 NFL playoffs.

AFC, NFC championship game matchups

AFC — No. 1 Denver Broncos vs. No. 2 New England Patriots

It's straight chalk on the AFC side of the bracket, as the No. 1 seed and No. 2 seed will meet in the AFC Championship Game. However, there are some fascinating circumstances to Broncos vs. Patriots.

Usually, the talk entering this game would be the opportunity ahead of two quarterbacks drafted in 2024: Drake Maye and Bo Nix. And while Maye will certainly be front-and-center, it won't be Nix taking snaps for Denver, as the Broncos' star quarterback went down with a season-ending ankle injury in the final moments of his team's divisional round win.

Jarrett Stidham is in-line to get the AFC Championship Game start for the Broncos. There will also be two terrific defenses on display for Mike Vrabel and Sean Payton, with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. New England will be traveling to Mile High for the matchup.

While the Patriots took down the Chargers in the wild-card round, then the Texans in the divisional round, the Broncos are coming off a thrilling 33-30 win in overtime against Buffalo.

NFC — No. 1 Seattle Seahawks vs. No. 5 Los Angeles Rams

The NFC Championship Game will be another NFC West showdown, just one week after the 49ers and Seahawks went head-to-head. This time, it will be Matthew Stafford and the Rams heading to Seattle to take on Mike Macdonald's outstanding defense.

The Seahawks demolished San Francisco, 41-6, in the divisional round to win their first playoff game as the NFC's top seed. While Sam Darnold came into that matchup with some injury concerns, he didn't have to do much as Seattle's defense put on a show.

As for the Rams, their playoff wins haven't come easily, but they're alive nonetheless. Stafford led a game-winning touchdown drive to beat the Carolina Panthers over Wild Card Weekend, then the Rams squeaked by the Bears in overtime of the divisional round.

Now, Sean McVay's star-studded offense will meet Seattle's historic defense for a trip to the Super Bowl.

When is Super Bowl 60 in 2026?

  • Date: Sunday, Feb. 8
  • Time: 6:30 p.m. ET
  • Location: Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California

Super Bowl 60 is set to be held on Sunday, Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

The AFC and NFC champions will descend upon the west coast for the home of the 49ers nearly a week ahead of time as they prepare to fight for the Lombardi Trophy.
