What 14 teams are positioned to make the NFL playoffs in the 2025 regular season, from the eight division winners to six total wild cards? What would the seeding look like in the race for Super Bowl 60?

Here are the answers in AllSportsPeople' latest look at how the postseason field is coming together in both conferences going into the Sunday and Monday games of Week 12:

POWER RANKINGS: Chiefs, Lions, Chargers tumble; Broncos join Rams, Eagles in top tier

NFL playoff picture for Week 12

AFC

1. Denver Broncos 9-2 (first place, AFC West)

The Broncos, on a Week 12 bye, lead the division by two full games over the Chargers and 3.5 games over the Chiefs, whom they beat in Denver in Week 11. They hold the top seed over the Patriots going into Sunday because of a conference-record tiebreaker (6-2 vs. 5-2).

2. New England Patriots 9-2 (first place, AFC East)

The Patriots will take the field vs. The Bengals with a two-game plus head-to-head tiebreaker lead over the Week12-losing 7-4 Bills in the division title race. They will hope to jump the idle Broncos with a win over the Bengals.

3. Indianapolis Colts 8-2 (first place, AFC South)

The Colts are coming off a Week 11 bye trying to pass the idle Broncos, which they would do if they can also beat the Chiefs in Week 12. The Colts are trying to improve their conference record to a dominant 7-1, having already beating the Broncos in Week 2 to own that head-to-head tiebreaker. They also want to stay two or more games ahead of the second-place Jaguars in the South.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers 6-4 (first place, AFC North)

The Steelers still lead the division by one full game over the Ravens heading intot their tough Week 12 road matchup at the Bears. If Pittsburgh loses and Baltimore wins, the Ravens would take over first place with a better division record (2-0 vs. 2-1) before the teams play each other in Weeks 14 and 18.

5. Los Angeles Chargers 7-4 (second place, AFC West)

The Chargers are down two full games to the Broncos, whom they beat in Week 3 at home and don't play again until Week 18 in Denver. They will still be in playoff position after their Week 12 bye, either ahead or behind the Jaguars, who routed the Chargers in Week 11 to earn the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Chargers moved up here over the losing Bills because of a better conference record (6-2 vs. 4-3).

6. Buffalo Bills 7-4 (second place, AFC East)

The Bills' loss to the Texans caused them to lose a half-game to the Patriots in the division and also put them behind the Chargers. Now they need to worry about the Jaguars jumping them, too, if that team can avoid a desert trap and beat the Cardinals.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars 6-4 (second place, AFC South)

The Jaguars still can catch the Colts in the division race down two games because the teams still play each other twice, Week 14 in Jacksonville and Week 17 at Indianapolis. But they also need to worry about the three teams right behind them to at least fall back on a wild-card berth.

Who's in the hunt?

8. Houston Texans (6-5)
9. Kansas City Chiefs (5-5)
10. Baltimore Ravens (5-5)
11. Miami Dolphins (4-7)
12. Cincinnati Bengals (3-7)

The Texans know they will remain a game behind the idle Chargers and losing Bills, but they also know the Chiefs and Ravens can't jump them with wins because of inferior conference records. The idle Dolphins and Bengals, who host the Patriots, are barely alive.

Who's left?

13. Las Vegas Raiders (2-8)
14. New York Jets (2-8)
15. Cleveland Browns (2-8)
16. Tennessee Titans (1-9)

The Titans are trying to catch one of the teams ahead of them to stay out of the conference cellar. While they host the Seahawks in Week 12, they are helped for that cause with the Raiders hosting the Browns ad the Jets needing to play at the Ravens.

NFL DRAFT ORDER: Titans, Giants remain on pace to claim top '26 selections

NFC

1. Philadelphia Eagles 8-2 (first place, NFC East)

The Eagles would get closer to repeating as division champions if they beat the Cowboys, 3.5 games back in second place, in Dallas on Sunday to complete a season series sweep. The Eagles have the tiebreaker over the Rams after beating that team at home in Week 3.

2. Los Angeles Rams 8-2 (first place, NFC West)

The Rams lead the Seahawks, whom they beat in Week 11, by a full game and head-to-head tiebreaker. They also are 1.5 games up on the third-place 49ers, but with their season split, the 49ers hold the division-record tiebreaker (4-1 vs. 2-1) for now.

3. Chicago Bears 7-3 (first place, NFC North)

The Bears lead the second-place Packers by a half-game and the third-place Lions by a full game. They will look to beat the Steelers at home in Week 12 to stay ahead of both teams, with the Packers hosting the Vikings and the Lions hosting the Giants.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-4 (first place, NFC South)

The Buccaneers lead the second-place Panthers by only a half game after their two-game losing streak. They have their hands full to get back to winning as they need to play at the Rams on Sunday night.

5. Seattle Seahawks 7-3 (second place, NFC West)

The Seahawks are in the top wild-card spot but it's a precarious position with both the Packers and 49ers sitting a half-game behind and the Lions one game behind. They are expected to beat the Titans in Week 12, however, to maintain this spot.

6. Green Bay Packers 6-3-1 (second place, NFC North)

The Packers needed that Week 11 at the Giants to end a two-game losing streak. They will likely need to beat the Vikings at home to keep pace with the first-place Bears and third-place Lions.

7. San Francisco 49ers 7-4 (third place, NFC West)

The 49ers are back in the mix to try to catch and pass the Rams again in the NFC West and also are only a half-game behind the Seahawks. They have a trap game at home vs. The NFC South-hopeful Panthers on Monday night.

Who's in the hunt?

8. Detroit Lions 6-4
9. Carolina Panthers 6-5
10. Dallas Cowboys 4-5-1
11. Minnesota Vikings 4-6
12. Arizona Cardinals 3-7
13. Atlanta Falcons 3-7
14. Washington Commanders 3-8

The Lions and Panthers have the best chance here as they also can both win their divisions. The Cowboys and Vikings really cannot win their divisions have little margin for error the rest of the way while the rest are hanging on by a mathematical thread.

Who's left?

15. New Orleans Saints 2-8
16. New York Giants 2-9

The Saints and Giants are staying right there in the running for the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2026 with the Jets, Titans, Raiders and Browns.
