As analysts debate who will win MVP this year, Matthew Stafford continues to make his case.
The veteran Los Angeles Rams quarterback had another stellar performance on Sunday, as the Rams took down the San Francisco 49ers, 42-26. Los Angeles is now 7-2 on the year, tied for the best record in the NFC and just half a game behind the best record in the NFL.
Therefore, Stafford has a legitimate chance to secure the MVP award this year. The 37-year-old is leading the NFL in several categories, and as long as the Rams keep winning, he will be in the conversation.
After the game, Stafford gave credit to his coaches and teammates while downplaying his own performance.

Has Matthew Stafford won an MVP?
Stafford has never won an MVP award, as he played in an era of elite players like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers. The only season he ever received any MVP votes was 2023, when he finished eighth out of 10 players for MVP.
