Madden 26 team ratings: The best and worst NFL teams to play with listed by overall rating image

EA Sports has made its judgments for the 2025 NFL season.

With training camp underway and Week 1 inching closer, the official team ratings for Madden 26 dropped on Friday. Each of the 32 squads received its overall rating, as well as ratings for their offenses, defenses, and special teams units.

Naturally, teams like the Eagles, Chiefs, Bills, and Lions, four of the most successful teams in the league in 2024, are near the top of the pack due to their top-to-bottom talent. But there may be a few surprises for fans, as well — where do the new-look Steelers rank? What about the Patriots, who went 4-13 last season but revamped their roster with new head coach Mike Vrabel?

Madden 26 team ratings

It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the top five in Madden 26 team ratings all had strong 2024 seasons. The reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles rank second, while the Chiefs, who went 15-2 but lost in the title game, are third. The Bills, owners of the defending MVP in Josh Allen, came in at fourth. The top spot at the start of the game goes to the Ravens.

Notable rankings towards the middle of the pack include the Cowboys, who missed the playoffs last year but are hoping for a rebound behind a healthy Dak Prescott and WR addition George Pickens, as well as the Seahawks, who brought in a new quarterback in Sam Darnold.

Among the lowest-ranked teams overall are the Titans, who now have a core piece at quarterback in No. 1 pick Cam Ward, and the Saints, who may also be starting a rookie passer in Week 1 with Tyler Shough.
