Justin Tucker contract breakdown: How much money does Ravens kicker make in 2024 salary? image

Justin Tucker is making his case as the best kicker in the NFL — and possibly NFL history.

The Ravens haven't had to worry about many field-goal or extra-point attempts since they signed Tucker as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in 2012.

The 34-year-old has the best field goal percentage in NFL history, converting 90.2% of his kicks. He also ranks fourth in NFL history with a 98.7% conversion rate on extra points. His 395 field goals made and 464 extra point attempts made are good for third and fourth all-time, respectively.

The accolades don't stop there, either.

His 66-yard game-winning field goal to beat the Lions in 2021 was the longest in NFL history. No kicker has more first-team All-Pro honors than Tucker (5). In fact, he's tied with Tyreek Hill for the fifth-most first-team All-Pro nominations in NFL history, regardless of position. Only Aaron Donald (8), Zack Martin (7), Jason Kelce (6) and Bobby Wagner (6) have more.

So when it came time to negotiate a new contract, the Ravens made sure Tucker got his money's worth, making him the highest-paid kicker in NFL history.

Justin Tucker contract details

In 2022, the Ravens signed Tucker to a four-year, $24 million contract extension (with $17.5 million guaranteed) to make him the highest-paid kicker in NFL history.

His previous contract runs through the current season, so with the extension, Tucker is slated to stay in Baltimore through 2027. He does, however, have an out in his contract after the 2025 season if he chooses to test unrestricted free agency.
