As Herbert has settled into stardom in Los Angeles, he's largely kept his personal life quiet. With time, one key detail about his life started to leak out about a potential relationship with singer and celebrity Madison Beer.

Speculation about a relationship started as soon as Herbert and Beer were first spotted together, and the two could be the NFL's newest power couple in the AFC.

Is Justin Herbert dating Madison Beer?

While Herbert and Beer have not made any public statements confirming they are dating, all indications are that they are in a relationship.

Herbert was seen kissing Beer on the sideline before a game against the Washington Commanders in October 2025, which all but confirmed the speculation that the two were dating, and the two were spotted sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game later in the month.

Herbert notoriously keeps his personal life as private as possible, and Beer has evidently followed suit because she hasn't made any statements about the Chargers quarterback, but the two could only keep their romance under wraps for so long.

Because Justin Herbert and Madison Beer have kept the details of their relationship private, it isn't clear how they started dating.

While a quote purportedly from Herbert claiming he played chess with Beer circulated in 2025, that was never actually said by the Chargers quarterback. At this point, Herbert hasn't spoken publicly about Beer.

Beer was in a four-year relationship with another man until late 2024, and the first images of Herbert and Beer together surfaced in August 2025. It isn't known how long they might have been dating before they were first pictured together in the weeks leading up to the 2025 NFL season.

Beer was born in New York on Long Island but lives in Los Angeles.

Aug. 18, 2025: Herbert and Beer spotted together first time

The internet was set ablaze when Justin Herbert was spotted at a music video shoot for Madison Beer. While there was no confirmation at the time that the two were dating, some were quick to speculate that a relationship might be brewing.

Aug. 26, 2025: Herbert and Beer seen together again

Herbert and Beer were seen walking around Los Angeles together in casual clothes in late August 2025, according to photos captured by Page Six, marking their second appearance together in less than 10 days as romance speculation started to build.

Oct. 5, 2025: Herbert and Beer share pregame kiss

After weeks of speculation, the relationship between Herbert and Beer was confirmed when the two shared a kiss on the sideline before a Chargers game against the Commanders. 

Oct. 24, 2025: Herbert and Beer attend Lakers game together

Herbert and Beer were pictured together at a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves in the early days of the 2025-26 NBA season. Not only did they sit courtside together, but Herbert at one point protected Beer from getting hit by a basketball. 

Days later, Herbert and Beer attended a World Series game at Dodger Stadium.

Who is Madison Beer?

Madison Beer is a singer, songwriter and influencer who started to gain attention after posting videos of herself singing on YouTube when she was just 13.

Beer released her first single in 2013, when she was 14, and she released an EP in 2018 after working on it for three years. Since 2021, Beer has released two studio albums and has another on the way. "Locket" is set to be released on Jan. 16, 2026, just in time for the NFL playoffs. 

Beer is a two-time Grammy Award nominee and was nominated for a MTV Video Music Award in 2021.

Beer was born in March of 1999 and is 26 years old as of 2025.

Justin Herbert dating history

Justin Herbert hasn't let the public in on many details of his dating life, so he hasn't commented much at all about who he has or has not dated.

Reports did tie Herbert to NFL reporter Taylor Bisciotti in 2021, as the two had been spotted together, but neither side ever confirmed a relationship.

Madison Beer dating history

Madison Beer spent four years in a relationship with influencer Nick Austin until they reportedly split in late 2024. 

Before Austin, Beer spent parts of 2018 and 2019 dating entrepreneur Zack Bia and was seen in 2017 enjoying some romantic moments with Brooklyn Beckham, the celebrity son of former soccer star David Beckham.

Beer dated musician and internet star Jack Gilinsky in the years before Beckham and Bia, though their relationship ended on sour terms with Beer later claiming she was treated poorly and her safety was threatened.

Did Jaxson Dart date Madison Beer?

Some internet speculation and misinformation has connected New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart to Beer, but the two have never dated and aren't known to have any connection.

Dart did reveal in 2025 that Beer was his celebrity crush, though he might not have said that if he knew at the time that she was dating Herbert.
