Jordan Travis was anything but an under-the-radar quarterback during the college football season.
He had Florida State undefeated through 10 games before he suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the 11th game of the season. The injury sidelined the star quarterback, and it likely played a role in the 13-0 Seminoles missing a playoff berth and ultimately losing to Georgia in the Orange Bowl.
Travis could have played himself into the top quarterback group in the 2024 NFL Draft, but instead he is on the outskirts on draft conversations due to injury. Here's what to expect heading into the NFL Draft.

Will Jordan Travis be drafted?
Despite the injury, Travis should still be drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. Which round is the more pressing question and remains uncertain.
He ended his season on Nov. 18 against North Alabama after fracturing and dislocating his ankle during the first quarter.
But in the months following, Travis progressed and doctors told him that he should be fully cleared in April, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He recently visited the New York Jets, who had him drop back and pass on an open field.

April is almost done, so it seems that Travis won't be fully cleared just yet. He said in March that he's hoping to be ready in May or June.
"At this point, I’m taking it day by day,” Travis said. “I’m so thankful to wake up every single day, look down at my shoes, and I’m so grateful. It’s been a journey, for sure. My family has helped me get through it. But yeah, I mean, I should be ready by May. That’s my goal. May, June, so ready for it."

Prior to the Travis' injury, he may have been included among the top quarterbacks in this draft class.

Instead, Travis fell down draft boards due to his significant ankle injury back in November. With a full recovery expected well before the NFL regular season, Travis could slide in as a late-round steal for franchises looking for a quarterback.
Vinnie Iyer of Sporting News has Travis landing with the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round with the 165th overall pick.

Travis spent six years in college, five of which were at Florida State. He had steady growth each year but really blossomed in his fourth year during the 2021 season.
His sixth and final year was the most impressive albeit his injury.
