Jordan Love wife: Ronika Stone Love

Love's wife is volleyball player Ronika Stone, who played four years at the University of Oregon before becoming a professional volleyball player. She currently plays for the San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation, a volleyball league that played its inaugural season in 2024.

She also played for Athletes Unlimited in 2022 and Pinkin Corazol in Puerto Rico in 2022 and 2023, winning back-to-back championships.

Love and Stone met through Mo Walker, Love's college roommate at Utah State and Stone's friend from high school. At first they met through FaceTime but eventually met in person when Love went to Stone's birthday party in California.

They got together and went public in 2020, Love proposed to Stone in June of 2024 and then the two got married a year later.

As an athlete herself, Stone has been impressed with the way Love has developed as a player since entering the league.

"Now watching him run out and take over the team for himself, it's been incredible," she said in an NBC interview. "Being there in the offseason and watching him put in all of the work...it's remarkable to see and makes me want to work harder in my sport.

Jordan Love dad: Orbin Love

Jordan Love's father, Orbin Love, was a quarterback himself in high school who became a running back for Bakersfield College. After his football career ended, he became a  police officer in the Bakersfield Police Department until he died at 51 years-old, a total of 27 years on the force.

Besides his work as a police officer, Orbin also served as a Sunday school teacher and Youth Pastor for Fellowship Baptist Church.

Jordan was Orbin's only son, and Orbin had dreams of his son playing in the NFL one day. As Jordan continues his quest as a starting quarterback, he is turning his father's dream into a reality.

Tragic suicide

In July of 2013, when Jordan Love was 14, Orbin Love took his own life at 51 years-old.

"My darkest moment was definitely the day it happened, just hearing about it right there in the car," Jordan said, via NFL.com. "I didn't want to believe it."

Jordan and his family believe that Orbin's change in medication led to his suicide, even though the initial diagnosis was depression.

"If you knew him, he was the happiest dude you would ever see. He was always smiling. Even if things in his life got him down, he never showed that," Love said. "Our family knew it was the medication messing with his head, not acting like himself, not acting right. If people make assumptions about depression that aren't right, there's nothing that can be done about that. It's good enough for me to know it was the medication. As long as I know, I'm good with it."

While this was a difficult moment in Jordan's life, the quarterback credits football for helping him get to the other side of the grieving process.

"I was young, and it was a lot," he said, via The Athletic. "But I think that's what really helped me — playing football, being able to take my mind off things, just being around my friends."

Jordan Love mom: Anna Love

Anna Love was a California Highway Patrol officer before she retired in 2019. She has four kids, all with Orbin, but Jordan is her only son. The two have a strong bond, as Jordan credits her for constantly checking in on him and his family.

"My mom, she’s awesome," Love said on The Pivot podcast. "She’s a superstar. She is always looking out for me and making sure everything is good with me and my sisters. She’s awesome. A blessing."

After his dad died, Jordan dealt with instances where he doubted if he should continue to play football, and it was his mother who was able to convince him to stick with it.

"Stuff wasn't going my way," Love said. "I might have to give it up, and my mom knowing my dad's dream was me being an athlete (she said) stick it out another year, see what happens. Ended up sticking it out that year, became the starting quarterback, was able to fight that adversity, get over that uphill battle and come out better from it on the other end."

Although Jordan sat behind Aaron Rodgers for the first three years of his career, his mother came to every Packers game anyway.

Jordan Love sisters

Love is the third-oldest of four with three sisters: Kami, Emily and Alexis.

Kami Love (Jordan Hands of 10ve Foundation)

Kami Love, Jordan's eldest sister by nearly 10 years, is a real estate agent in Santa Barbara. She is also the executive director of the Jordan Hands of 10ve Foundation, which Jordan founded to honor his father.

"Through Hands of 10ve I hope to encourage kids to participate in sports; bring awareness to mental health and suicide issues; and to continue my dad's work in uniting law enforcement with the community," Jordan wrote on the foundation's website. "I dedicate Hands of 10ve to my father who was the biggest advocate for raising up kids in need, building community and brightening lives. While I don't have a clear answer for "why" my dad went as he did, I hope to continue to be an advocate for positive change in the world, as he did every day."

Kami is married and has a son named Nikko.
