Since Hurts took over as the Eagles' full-time starting quarterback in 2021, he has faced the Buccaneers six times, including the playoffs. With Philadelphia's Week 4 win over Tampa Bay, Hurts is now 2-4 all-time against the Bucs.
Tampa Bay has often proved to be a formidable opponent for Philadelphia, even for a Super Bowl squad that has made the playoffs in each of the last four seasons. Hurts' first game against the Buccaneers was in 2021, which was a 28-21 loss for the Eagles. Later in that season, it was Tampa Bay that sent Philadelphia home packing in the playoffs.
