Haason Reddick trade details: Eagles offload edge-rush surplus to Jets for draft pick image

The major rumblings of NFL free agency may have passed, but there's still some noise in the Northeast ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets have agreed to a trade that'll have Haason Reddick in a Jets uniform at the start of the 2024-25 season.

Reddick, a seven-year veteran edge rusher, spent the last two seasons with the Eagles, reaching the Pro Bowl both times. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals with the 13th overall pick in 2017.

Here are the details on the Eagles-Jets trade.

Haason Reddick trade details

  • Jets receive: EDGE Haason Reddick
  • Eagles receive: 2026 third-round draft pick (conditional)

The Eagles are shipping Reddick off to New York for a conditional draft pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The draft pick is currently a 2026 third-round selection, but it can be upgraded to a second rounder in 2026 based on playing time. Reddick needs to reach 67.5 percent playtime this season as well as record at least 10 sacks for the pick to become a second rounder.

If this criteria isn't met, the pick remains as a 2026 third-round pick.

Haason Reddick contract

Reddick is on his last year of a three-year, $45 million deal that he signed with the Eagles. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2025, according to Spotrac.
