We are 15 weeks into the 2025 NFL season, and some teams are jockeying for postseason position, while other players are just trying to put their best attributes on tape in hopes of improving their stock for next year. Speed is one of those key attributes that teams are always looking to stockpile.

When the dust settled on Week 15, several playoff contenders were putting the pedal to the metal. A pair of Patriots were back in the mix once again, and one of the league's top defenders showed that speed isn't only a key asset on offense and special teams.

Here is a look at the five fastest players in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season.

2. Patrick Surtain II, CB, Broncos (21.42 mph)

  • Top speed: 21.42 mph
  • Play type: 0-yard interception

Patrick Surtain II was named the 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year for a reason. He is the top cornerback in the game, and it was evidenced by the interception that he had in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers. Not only did he stay with wide receiver Christian Watson, Surtain II dove for the interception, making an impressive play. The victory puts the Broncos firmly in the driver's seat for the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
