The NFL season makes its much-awaited return to action in early September. The Chiefs and Chargers are expected to be two of the most notable storylines during the Week 1 slate of games.

That's not all that surprising to predict; Kansas City and Los Angeles have a handful of stars between them, with Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Travis Kelce, Khalil Mack and Chris Jones all ranking as some of the most iconic players at their respective positions. Those talents will take center stage when the Chiefs and Chargers lock horns from a sporting landscape of a different disposition: Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil.

With another international game on the horizon, the NFL is taking big steps to expand its global reach. That also means making this weekend's broadcast more accessible that any in prior history — all courtesy of YouTube.

With that, here's what you need to know about Kansas City and Los Angeles' broadcast on Friday night, a YouTube-backed operation expected to feature a host of familiar faces.

Who are the Chiefs vs. Chargers announcers?

YouTube enlisted a pair of veteran voices to lead its broadcast on Friday night. Rich Eisen and Kurt Warner will lend their vocals to Friday's game, with the former serving as the game's play-by-play man and the latter offering musings as an analyst.

Eisen and Warner are well-versed in broadcasting. They have accrued more than 40 years of on-air time between them and have taken on similar roles at NFL Network.

They'll be joined by a motley crew of broadcasting talent. Terry McAulay will dish out refereeing expertise as the broadcast's rule analyst, while Stacey Dales will fire off updates from the sidelines. Deestroying, a former kickoff specialist at UCF who has become on of the country's biggest sports-related content creators, is set to contribute to the broadcast as a "sideline creator."
