The New York Giants will head on the road on Sunday to face the Dallas Cowboys. New York and Dallas are both 0-1 to start the 2025 NFL season.

The Giants lost to the Washington Commanders in Week 1 and the Cowboys lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1. This is a must win in Week 2 for both New York and Dallas. Not only will the loser of this game drop to 0-2, but they will also drop to 0-2 in the NFC East standings. The loser of this game is going to have a large hill to climb. The playoffs could potentially be a pipedream in 2025 for the loser of this football game.

New York Giants Fans Not Confident Ahead Of Week 2 Matchup Against the Dallas Cowboys

With the Giants offense not doing much against the Commanders in Week 1, they are starting quarterback Russell Wilson once again in Week 2 in favor of rookie Jaxson Dart. The Cowboys have owned New York over the last several years when Dak Prescott has been playing.

Not many Giants fans are confident in the team potentially winning the game on the road on Sunday against Dallas. They feel like another long NFL season is ahead for them.

The last time that the Giants beat the Cowboys was on January 3, 2021. The last time that New York beat Dallas in Dallas, Texas was on September 11, 2016. This rivalry has been one sided over the last decade. It would feel like a total shock for Giants fans if they were able to change the narrative and finally beat the Cowboys this weekend.
