Drake Maye can already pass Tom Brady in this Patriots playoff stat image

Drake Maye's career with the Patriots has only just begun, but he's already establishing himself as a potential franchise great.

Being a Patriot isn't easy, as you'll always be in the shadow of what Tom Brady accomplished during his time in New England.

However, with less than two playoff games under his belt, Maye is already threatening Tom Brady for the record in one all-time Patriots postseason statistic.

What stat is Drake Maye about to pass Tom Brady in?

Through halftime of the Patriots/Texans game, Maye has 12 rushing yards.

After last week's game, this puts Maye's career postseason total up to 78 rushing yards.

Tom Brady currently holds the Patriots' postseason quarterback rushing total record, albeit at just 136 yards in 41 career postseason games as a Patriot.

This means that Maye only needs 59 more rushing yards to overtake Brady in this category, and through potentially his first 2-3 career postseason games, Maye could already grab the franchise record for all-time rushing yards by a quarterback.

It's not the most impressive stat you could overtake Brady in, as Brady wasn't known to rush the ball much, but considering Maye could do it so quickly, it's worth mentioning.
