The Los Angeles Rams cruised to a commanding 35-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the final London game of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday (October 19).

The contest at Wembley Stadium drew in a packed crowd, with fans witnessing Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams put on a superb offensive showing for the Rams, who moved to 5-2 for the year.

Stafford threw five touchdown passes, three of which were caught by Adams. The Rams defence also stepped up as Trevor Lawrence was sacked seven times.

The dominant nature of the Rams' victory came as a slight surprise to some as the team spent very little time in London ahead of the Week 7 contest.

Sean McVay's team remained in Baltimore after beating the Ravens on the road in Week 6, practising at Camden Yards, ballpark of the MLB's Baltimore Orioles.

The team stayed in Baltimore until Friday (October 17) and only arrived in the English capital on Saturday morning (October 18).

The Rams' preparation for their London visit is a massive contrast to what teams go through before an international game.

Typically, teams will arrive overseas at the earliest opportunity. The Jaguars touched down in London on the Tuesday (October 14) before Sunday's loss to the Rams.

Following his team's emphatic victory, McVay touched on the Rams' surprising preparation choice for the game.

"We tried to make the trip similar to what we do with going west (coast) to east (coast), which we're familiar with," the Rams head coach said post-game.

"Our body clocks adjusted in Baltimore. It's a little bit different timetable, but I was trying to make it a west coast to east coast trip," he explained.

"I think the way the guys played showed it was the right decision. There's a lot of people behind the scenes that deserve a ton of credit for this nine-day trip."

"We picked up our whole operation and went somewhere else. I'm proud of our team," the Rams head coach added.

The Rams now have a bye week ahead of them and will return to the field on November 2 when they host the New Orleans Saints.

The Jaguars, now 4-3, also have a bye week coming up, with Liam Coen set to turn his attention to getting the team ready for a visit to the Las Vegas Raiders in a fortnight.
